Youth Voice provides an opportunity for young people aged 16-25 years to have their voices heard and ideas included in local plans and services that affect them, making sure that young people and YHN tenants are listened to and respected in Newcastle.
We host a weekly drop-in session so young people can meet others and get involved in a wide range of positive activities.
Some young people train as Peer Educators to enable us to raise awareness and educate other young people in the city about issues such as youth homelessness and drug and alcohol misuse. We also help young people remove any barriers to education, employment or training opportunities, helping them to increase their confidence and well-being at their own pace.
Our staff are here on site to support and assist you with a range of issues and with any direction and journey you would like to take.
