Our qualified and experienced teaching staff recognises that all pupils are unique individuals and all learn in different ways, at different paces and to different levels. These factors are considered in our teaching, therefore we are able to achieve our main aim to, 'develop confidence and raise self - esteem in young people'
Training is offered to children and teenagers from 3 to16 years. Pupils are separated into individual classes according to age and ability. Class sizes are restricted to no more than 15 pupils per class and each of our Schools has a minimum of four qualified teachers and a Principle. The ratio of staff to pupils is one of the key elements to Acting Up's Success.
Our early year's classes are made up of children aged 3 to 5 years only and classes take place over a 2-hour period. Pupils spend 30 minutes in each of the following subject areas Drama, Dance and Music. Pupils have a standard 15-minute break between classes.
Normal classes take place for pupil's aged 5-16yrs. Classes take place for 50 minutes in each of the following subject areas Drama, Dance and Music. Classes rotate every hour and a 15-minute break is allowed during the 3 hour session.
