We provide supported accommodation, resettlement support and crisis responses for young people aged 16-24 years old and at risk, including those with chaotic lives, care leavers, teenage parents and young lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people.
We aim to give vulnerable young people a place to stay in emergency situations, assess their needs and work in partnership to best meet these needs, and prepare them to move to their optimum level of independent living.
The service is delivered by three partners:
- Albert Kennedy Trust: provides dispersed accommodation in self-contained flats with visiting support.
- Depaul UK: provides single-site accommodation with 24-hour staffing and self-contained flats with visiting support.
- Home Group: provides emergency beds and single-site accommodation with 24 hour staffing, and self-contained flats with staff available on-site, in the city centre.
We develop tailored support plans with each client to support people to move on to their optimum level of independence. We offer a range of money management advice including benefits, managing finance, maximising income and avoiding debt.
We also try to help improve people's life chances and advice to help resolve housing problems.
