Information for Schools
The course can be organised to reflect the needs of the young parents/ parents to be, but historically has been in two cohorts, one focussing on parenting skills (pregnant yp or those with very small babies and the other on employability skills, devising a programme of support for next steps into education/ training and employment.
The course has been from one day per week to three days per week dependent on need, with a variety of durations and guided learning hours regarding accredited outcomes eg Maths/ English/ Employability and Personal Development qualifications - this course can be both accredited on none accredited, but Catch 22 have a commitment to providing accredited courses wherever possible to enhance the employability of the yp with whom we work.
Catch 22 deliver a variety of educational services for young people from 4-19 years and programmes can be organised to meet the needs of most learners including the most challenging, or those furthest away from the labour market .

Examples :
City and Guilds 5546 Employability and PDD - 60 to 109 guided learning hours (award/ certificate) - entry to Level 1 City and Guilds Functional Skills Literacy, Speaking and Listening exam 30 GLHrs, Functional Skills up to Level 2 from 60 GLHrs dependent on initial assessment ( entry to level 2), Customer Care course (30 GLHrs)
