Information for Schools

Personal and Social Education (PHSE)

The following qualifications have been accredited within the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). The Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) is the national credit transfer system for education qualification in England, Northern Ireland and Wales.   Combinations of units make up different levels of qualifications in specific subject areas. Prior to the running of one of our QCF award/extended award courses in Personal and Social Education at Entry Level 3 or Level 1 we discuss what units would be most relevant to the schools/young people we will be working with before planning a bespoke time table to meet learning abilities and outcomes.

For the majority of units, we use our innovative and effective method of using music and music production to explore the themes covered under each unit. This method not only serves to better engage participants in the subject matter, but also allows for a more interactive experience, which enables better retention and recall of information.

Listed below is the full list of units we are able to run in respect of our current roster of QCF qualifications. A range of examples are then listed to detail the different units that can be run with young people to make up the overall QCFs.
