British Deaf Association

The BDA is the largest Deaf organisation in the UK that is run by Deaf people. They represent the Sign Language community, which is united by shared experiences, history and, most importantly, by British Sign Language (BSL).

We offer a Deaf Roots and Pride project in the North East which is a mentoring service for Deaf young people aged 8 to 20. Please contact Simon Herdman for more information at: mentornortheast.drp@bda.org.uk
