Phoenix Futures Resettlement – Tyneside Supported Housing
The service is an abstinent based supported housing service and national drug treatment organisation and we offer abstinence based accommodation in Tyneside for those in recovery for substance misuse. Our Supported Housing is delivered in partnership with local housing providers and offers people with substance misuse issues a structured package of support. There are 2 semi-independent houses in Tyneside with a total of 18 beds. The sites are staffed during the day and offered a tailored package of one-to-one care and group work. Residents are given the opportunity to gain life skills and when they are ready to move on our dedicated staff help them to find move-on accommodation

Other Details
Most accommodation costs are covered by Housing Benefits, however, there is a small personal service charge (PSC), which the client is responsible for, which covers energy bills and any food provided. This varies depending upon the service; 2015/16 charges for these services range from £12.12 to £13.00 per week depending on facilities available; relevant charges are made clear to clients in advance.
Availability
The Phoenix Futures Tyneside Resettlement Service provides housing support to adults (male & female 18+) in recovery from substance wishing to live in an abstinent environment whilst working towards an independent and substance free lifestyle
Referral is required, however individuals are welcome to 'self refer' pending a full needs assessment being carried out.
