The school is a Community Co-educational First School. The building has a large hall and adjoining dining area. We have six classrooms for Key stages 1 & 2. The Foundation Stage Unit for Nursery and Reception age children consists of three classrooms and an outside play area / outdoor classroom. We have a small group working room / medical room and library areas. We also have a centralised computer suite with controlled access to the Internet.

Grange First School is a community school catering for a maximum of 352 boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 9 years. 

We don’t just provide footwear at Grassboots. Over the last few months we’ve given out numerous items of baby clothing, pushchairs, baths, cots and accessories to families and individuals who are really struggling.

The Great North Children's Hospital provides the full range of children's health services, all tailored to each and every child - we call this patient-centred care.

Green Tree Nursery is a 50 place private day nursery situated in Old Benwell Village based in a large 2-storey building, which since 2002 has provided an excellent standard of care and learning experiences to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Registered with Ofsted

The nursery is open for 51 weeks of the year Monday till Friday 7.30 a.m. – 6.00 p.m. 

Here at Green Tree Nursery our professional fully trained qualified team aim to provide a home from home environment and a high quality education. 

Hadrian is a school for primary aged children with a wide range of additional needs including complex, profound and multiple learning disabilities, severe and moderate learning difficulties, speech and language needs, physical, perceptual and sensory needs. We help all our children overcome their personal difficulties through highly trained and expert specialist teaching, through our amazing therapeutic curriculum and resources and our partnership work with parents/carers and health professionals.

Join us for inclusive sessions of dance, movement, and aerial at Dance City, held two Sundays per month.

Butterflies and Bugs Great Park Limited is an out of school club offering high quality after school care and Holiday clubs. During term time we collect children in Year 2-4 from Brunton First School & care for children Reception-year 4 in Holiday Club.

The harm reduction service delivers a range of open access and confidential support for drug and alcohol users. You can access support such as needle and syringe exchange, nursing support, blood-borne virus testing, and access to naloxone.  You will also get lots of advice or information, and the staff will work with other services to support your needs.   

There are other needle exchange services in the city, including pharmacy exchanges, and the exchange at the Joseph Cowan Health Centre.  

Founded in 2005 through a partnership between The FA and UEFA Hat-Trick delivers around 70 sessions each week to people in Newcastle upon Tyne and now in Gateshead.

We support the young people to reach their full potential by providing opportunities to participate in positive activities that offer training, qualifications & leadership. We work across the city of Newcastle and borough of Gateshead in areas of high deprivation, the top 10 percent of most deprived neighbourhoods  across the country.
