The garden works with nature to create a great place for people and wildlife to enjoy. The garden is about our community, whether in Scotswood and Benwell or the wider area, and we welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to get involved in our work. This can be as a visitor to the garden, as a member of our volunteer team, or as a participant in one of our events. We welcome you to visit and enjoy the fruits of our labours.

Swimfun North East is a new swim school (est. April 2017) that provides high Quality swimming lessons for people of all ages. Lessons are fun and aim to develop water confidence and swimming technique and skills within the national framework.
We are an inclusive swim school and we welcome people from all backgrounds and abilities, safeguarding is a priority. All teachers are nationally qualified, DBS checked and members of Swim England.
At Inspire Youth, we offer a vast range of children services from youth and play work to specialised mentoring programmes. We aim to give every child the best possible chance at life, and work by our motto “enrichment beyond the classroom"
The sessions provide the young people with a safe, calm, enriching environment where they can socialise, stay active, take part in many activities, learn life skills and get fed.
This campaign from Public Health England focuses on helping families make healthy food swaps by using the Food Scanner app.
Quadrant main focus is to work with children and young people most in need and hard to reach including those with disabilities or additional needs.
Our provision over the years has seen us work within educational settings offering after school clubs, holiday clubs, mentoring and personal development programs.
We have also developed our first SEN exclusive drop-in club for young people.
Come and join us at Gorilla bowl in Eldon Square for a free game of bowling! All participants will receive a free soft drink or hot drink and a snack.

Every day will be slightly different but will always include physical activity such as gallery tour or nature walk, activities such as craft, story telling or mindfulness and a healthy snack and hot meal.

The Turf @ St John's is based within St John's Primary School. All of the staff who work in the facility have the same training as those based in school.
The vast majority of staff working at The Turf also have a role within school.
April 2nd - April 5th 10am - 3pm.
Daily activities include sport, games and eggcellent crafts. You can attend all day or drop in as you want.
A hot meal and snacks will be available daily. Any left over food will be available to take home.
