We provide a safe and stimulating environment for children's learning and development. The setting implements the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and ensures all children have equal access and opportunity to actively learn and develop.  Outdoor access is available all year round to extend experiences. We provide fun and affordable childcare delivered in a safe and supervised environment. Our qualified staff are DBS checked to an enhanced level, first aid qualified and are experienced in and passionate about the activities they offer.

SportNE Activity Camps is an Ofsted Registered Childcare which provides multi sports activities alongside crafts and challenges for 3-11 year olds.

Little Acorns Out of School Club Ltd provide Breakfast & After School Club sessions for Children aged 4-11yrs of West Jesmond Primary School.

Shooting Stars offer high quality early years childcare and education from birth to 5 years. Kids Planet Westerhope is a 72 registered place, Ofsted inspected nursery, caring for children 0-5 years.  It offers spacious, warm and welcoming premises providing a safe and stimulating environment including two self-contained baby rooms for babies 0-2 years and a well-resourced pre-school room.  There is also a children’s library, soft play room, sensory room, separate dining room and large all weather multipurpose outdoor area and outdoor nature classroom all with safety surface, decked and grassed areas.

Nystagmus Network is a charity that helps people with nystagmus, a condition where the eyes move uncontrollably. They offer many services to support families and children with nystagmus.

Support Services

Today, 10 children and young people in the UK will hear the shocking news that they have cancer.

Treatment normally starts immediately, is often given many miles from home and can last for up to three years. Being diagnosed with cancer is a frightening experience and the emotional, practical and financial implications of treatment are intensely challenging for the whole family.

Retina UK is the national charity for families living with inherited retinal dystrophies. We fund research and provide information and support to those affected by inherited sight loss and the professionals who support them.
