Following a fully booked nursing event in December 2023, we are back with a team of 10 Newcastle Hospitals Trust nurses who all do very different jobs operating in different sectors under the title of ‘nurse.’ An insightful morning helping students to understand the reality of the world of nursing and the many different roles that this encompasses

Big River Bakery, a small-batch social enterprise, specialise in handmade breads and baked goods with locally sourced ingredients. Proud to be embedded in the local community, we will join the bakers for a stottie making session whilst listening to the career stories of the people employed at the bakery to help understand how to gain a career in this hands-on sector.
