Nearest Metro: Manors - Five minutes on foot. Turn right out of Manors metro station, up the stairs onto New Bridge Street. Cross the road at the lights and continue onto Shieldfield Green. The school is on the right opposite the new Northumbria University buildings. Bus routes: The 12, 39, 40, 62, 63 all stop nearby. These services also stop at the monument and near the city library site in the city centre. The 15 and 16 stop nearby in Shieldfield.
