This is Creative Enterprise (TICE) CIC is a non-profit organisation dedicated to support young students in exploring the creative sector in regards to career prospects and/or the choices in vocational and academic pathways..

When we describe what it is that we do at This is Creative Enterprise, the response we always get is, “I wish I’d had that when I was at school”... so, what do we do? We work with businesses, schools, colleges and universities to give young people a taste of the opportunities that exist within the commercial creative, design and digital industries.

The students we work with range in age from four up to 24 and the projects we introduce evolve every year to reflect the rate of change in the commercial creative sectors. We like to say we provide an emporium of brilliant ideas, incredible innovation and inspiring opportunities, but we couldn’t fit all that on our business cards. So, this is us, This is Creative Enterprise, providing students worldwide with creative innovation through business enterprise.

TICE delivers a national award-winning programme. We introduce students to current industry trends, perspectives and emerging opportunities by giving the young people we work with the chance to explore in full the scope of the careers that exist within the commercial creative industries. We work to give each student real-time, hands-on access to what’s happening in the world today – so they can think about where they might see themselves in the future.

Our collaborative approach demonstrates how both educational staff and industry employers can work together to develop young peoples’ skills and career awareness.

We run a variety of programmes and activities usually through schools or summer schools.

The TICE Programme is our annual creative programme which culminates in a summer show.

TICE Travels is an opportunity for schools and colleges to collaborate on national and international trips in a variety of creative and professional development projects.

TICE Events connect to various regional events such as NE1’s Newcastle Fashion Week and include workshops and trips to gain further insight into popular creative events and performances. 

TICE Workshops are tailored to a schools’ needs and criteria.
