Energy Services

Energy Services provides energy management and advice services to the council, Your Homes Newcastle and to Newcastle's residents.

• Advice to residents on saving energy and finding a cheaper energy deal;
• Advice on energy debt, energy supplier issues, case work for YHN tenants;
• Access to financial help for insulation, heating, renewable technologies;
• Information and advice on bills and saving energy in our council buildings;

We do not provide a specialist benefit advice service but do offer Newcastle residents some general support with benefit issues. For example:

• Giving people general information about benefits in relation to energy related payments such as the Warm Home Discount, Cold Weather payment and Winter Fuel Allowance;
• Directing people to specialist benefit advice and information or benefit administrators.
