Farne Primary School

It is my pleasure to introduce you to our school. Farne Primary is a warm, welcoming and happy place to be; the family atmosphere and team spirit are what makes our school the place that it is… and we would love you to join us, if you are not already part of 'Team Farne!'

As the Head Teacher, I want to  ensure that our school goes from strength to strength. We are on an upward journey – and the sky is the limit! Our results are excellent and our current parents are overwhelmingly positive about their child’s education.

The motto of our school of ‘Bring Out Your Brilliance’ is key at Farne. We expect excellent behaviour, kindness, respect and good manners from our children – and in return we promise to give each and every one of our children an excellent education, within a small, caring school community.

I am passionate that we create a truly outstanding school built on secure foundations of excellent teaching through a daring, memorable and ambitious curriculum. We insist on consistently high standards in academic attainment and progress, as well as behaviour and behaviour for learning, for all of our pupils.

As of 1st November 2016, Farne Primary School proudly became part of the SMART Multi Academy Trust, working collaboratively with seven other local primary schools. All staff, pupils and governors at Farne embrace this opportunity to strengthen our school communities and improve the outcomes for pupils in the North West area of Newcastle Upon Tyne. We work towards our collaborative goal of 'aspirational education for the future'.
