Foster a Future - Newcastle City Council's Fostering Service

Foster A Future recruits foster carers from all types of backgrounds because each child in our care is an individual with their own needs, experiences and personality. If you are able to provide stability, security and support to children of all ages and circumstances, we'd like to hear from you. 

You can foster through our mainstream, Build A Future, Supported Lodgings, Short Breaks, Respite and Community fostering programmes. You can find more about these schemes here. 

We offer you lots of support and training and we pay you to foster.

We welcome enquiries from anyone within a 50-mile radius of Newcastle Upon Tyne, so if you're over 21, have a spare room and could offer a loving and supportive home to a child, we'd love to hear from you.
