Journalism programme - Headliners UK

Headliners (UK) is a national youth charity that works to empower young people and young to adults to have a voice through a unique journalism programme.  This project is to work young people who are 16-25 from new, emerging and established migrant communities from Tyneside.

We have 3 different start dates during the year. We aim for our sessions to be fun and casual. During the programme we hope that young people will develop several skills such as communication skills, photography skills, interviewing skills and leadership skills.

Sessions will be delivered in Newcastle city centre. Public transport costs will be covered and refreshments provided. At the end of the course you will gain a nationally recognised qualification and become more financially and digitally aware.

If this project sounds like something you would be interested in and would like more information, please contact Rob Austin
