Lymphoma Association

We give people coping with a lymphatic cancer diagnosis the right information and support when they need it most

When someone is told they have lymphoma it is often the most difficult experience they have ever faced. Many people have never heard of lymphoma before they or someone close to them is diagnosed and don’t know anything about it. They often feel shocked, frightened or hopeless.

We are the UK’s only charity focused exclusively on providing specialist information and support to help lymphoma patients, their relatives, friends and carers. We help people feel less vulnerable, more confident and more in control, which helps them cope and deal with their treatment.

Reliable medical information about lymphoma

You and others affected by lymphoma can rely on our medical and other information because it is regularly reviewed by doctors and other experts as well as people who have experienced lymphoma, and we have been certified as a producer of reliable health and social care information by The Information Standard, a rigorous quality mark scheme supported by the Department of Health. Find out more about our medical information.

Need someone to talk to who understands lymphoma?

You, a relative, friend or patient may also benefit from contacting our confidential, freephone helpline. Our small team of dedicated patient support officers are specially trained to offer information on any aspect of lymphoma and to provide a caring, listening ear to anyone affected by the disease. They can provide you with appropriate booklets and information sheets tailored to your needs, put you in touch with someone who has been through a similar lymphoma experience through our buddy scheme or tell you about a lymphoma support group near you.
