NE1 Careers Event - Construction Cohort

A series of sector specific cohort events taking small groups of young people on a number of events exploring careers within their chosen sector of interest. Designed to give a higher number of meaningful employer encounters with a variety of employers within a specific industry, applicants will be required to commit to a number of event dates across each cohort group and we ask that students have a genuine interest within each area when expressing interest.

All students must be KS5 and able to attend independently or supported, as appropriate, by members of staff. Cohorts will run across outlined months and dates will be released on expressions of interest

Bowmer & Kirkland are one of the largest privately owned construction firms operating in the UK. Delivering for clients in the public and private sector, they are responsible for some of the biggest construction projects within Newcastle city in a generation including Bank House and Pilgrim Quarter. We will work alongside the company to deliver three construction insight events to a small cohort of interested students.
