NE1 Careers Event - Law Cohort

A series of sector specific cohort events taking small groups of young people on a number of events exploring careers within their chosen sector of interest. Designed to give a higher number of meaningful employer encounters with a variety of employers within a specific industry, applicants will be required to commit to a number of event dates across each cohort group and we ask that students have a genuine interest within each area when expressing interest.

All students must be KS5 and able to attend independently or supported, as appropriate, by members of staff. Cohorts will run across outlined months and dates will be released on expressions of interest.

Students will visit four Newcastle based law firms varying in size, culture, people and product lines. Exploring a breadth of areas within law, the cohort will leave more informed about the realities of working within this sector breaking down stereotypes and opening up new opportunities. Law apprenticeships will also be explored.
