NE1 Careers Event - Retail Management Cohort

A series of sector specific cohort events taking small groups of young people on a number of events exploring careers within their chosen sector of interest. Designed to give a higher number of meaningful employer encounters with a variety of employers within a specific industry, applicants will be required to commit to a number of event dates across each cohort group and we ask that students have a genuine interest within each area when expressing interest.

All students must be KS5 and able to attend independently or supported, as appropriate, by members of staff. Cohorts will run across outlined months and dates will be released on expressions of interest

A leading international fashion retailer, Primark employ over 800,000 colleagues across 17 countries with 460 stores worldwide and an ambitious expansion plan. Debunking the myth that retail is just ‘a job you do whilst you are looking for a job’, join us for a retail management cohort which specifically focuses on long term careers as a retail manager whilst highlighting the huge career opportunity for growth within it.

Our cohort will be hosted in training rooms above the Primark Newcastle store and take place across four events with an introductory event followed by three specific areas of management. One for ambitious business students, this event will be hugely popular and led by the Newcastle store General Manager
