Newcastle Women's Aid

Services include Domestic Abuse Flexible Support (DAFS), flexible and structured support for women affected by domestic abuse to achieve and maintain safety and independence, and the Freedom Programme, an 12 week group programme enabling women to recognise the signs of domestic abuse and explore its impact so the process of recovery can begin.

You can access the Helpline if you have been affected by domestic abuse or if you are worried about someone you know.

The Freedom Programme focuses on behaviours used within abusive relationships. It involves peer mutual support and opportunities for women to develop support networks and reduce isolation.

Recovery Support is a 5 week recovery programme focusing on healing and moving on. 

There is no charge for any of our services. Newcastle Women's Aid offers a confidential service.
