Newcastle Careers Fair My Future: My Choice

In partnership with the Newcastle Foundation the City Council are hosting a Careers Fair at St. James’ Park on Wednesday 15th February 2023. Between 9am-3pm schools are being invited to bring along years 9 and 11. From 3.30pm to 6.30pm the event will be open to 6th formers, college students and parents.

The exhibition area will feature over 100 stalls from employers representing 10 work related sectors; education providers from Universities, Colleges through to training organisations and apprenticeship providers, as well as a variety of support organisations. There will also be talks from employers giving examples of routes into employment and an insight into working life, plus more general talks on routes post 16 and 18 as well as information on what is happening in the local labour market. We will have a dedicated zone for those with additional needs showcasing opportunities and education providers that can support their needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity to show young people what opportunities are available and to help raise aspirations. As more information becomes available details will be on the Careers Team
