Newburn Activity Centre

Newburn Activity Centre is a registered non profit charity, ran by a local community trust. The centre is located on the outskirts of Newcastle about 6 miles from the city centre.  We aim to provide a wide variety of activities at an affordable price to the community. 

The centre has a wide range of high quality facilities including a double sports hall, gym and fitness and a 12.5 metre high climbing wall. The centre also features a soft play area, outdoor five a side football astro turfs and 11 a side grass football pitches. We have a number of local community group spaces that can be hired out to run groups or activities.  Newburn activity centre offers a wide variety of children's parties whilst we also have a function room available for that special event.

This is a warm, caring and kind place to be because:

• we have a quiet/calm space for young people to chill out in,
• parents/carers are welcome to contact staff to discuss individual needs and have a pre-visit prior to the activities taking place,

We have changing facilities for young people with continence issues.
