Acceptance Matters Virtual Conference
Following the success of previous years, we’re again inviting a host of autistic speakers to share their lived experience, knowledge and professional expertise as part of an all-day virtual conference this Autism Acceptance Week.
Taking place on Friday 26th May, this year’s conference will see our Family Development Manager Kerrie Highcock and Kieran Rose, the Autistic Advocate, return to host the conference alongside a whole new panel of speakers*.

The aims of the event are to:
- Educate people about the lives of autistic people (dispel some myths)
- Contribute to changing the negative narrative of autism
- Recognise and celebrate diversity and neurodiversity in all people
- Discuss the barriers to acceptance and the reason for them
- Inspire professionals to change through constructive education
