Newcastle Summer Festival

• The Newcastle's Best Holidays Ever Summer Festival is a free event for children and young people, organized by StreetGames and Newcastle City Council in partnership with Newcastle University.
• The festival will feature taster sessions in a variety of sports, including football, rugby, basketball, climbing wall, roller sport hockey, and athletics.
• There will also be non-sporty activities such as smoothie bikes and advice and guidance on issues affecting families in today's climate.
• The festival will also feature the chance to meet Team GB athletes, including a local world champion.
• Lunch will be provided for all children, which will consist of a standard option, a gluten-free option, and a vegan option.
