As a continuation of a series of events based on the 4 priorities for people with a learning disability identified in the ‘What’s Important To You?’ consultation, Skills for People are hosting another event on behalf of Collaborative Newcastle Learning Disability Partnership.
This next event will be about Keeping Safe and Money Matters.
The aim of the day is to:
- Find out what are the challenges that get in the way of keeping safe and managing money.
- Find out what support is available for people with a learning disability.
- Get together and come up with solutions to help people with a learning disability feel safe and manage their money.
When: Tuesday 9th April, 10am-3pm.
Where: Banqueting Suite, Newcastle Civic Centre.
This event is for people from Newcastle who have a learning disability, family carers, service providers and representatives from health and social care.
