Progression Mentors - Prince's Trust

WHERE: Online via Microsoft Teams                          WHEN: Flexible

What is a progression mentor?

  • A Progression Mentor is someone who can support you to move into employment, training or education.
  • They can help you set goals, create action plans and provide career guidance to give you the necessary tools for success.
  • Mentors can also provide support with crafting a CV, writing cover letters and filling out job applications.
  • Anyone aged 16-30 can take up this offer of dedicated one-to-one support for up to nine months.

How can I receive Mentorship support?

  • If you are interested in receiving support from a Progression Mentor, you can speak to a member of staff at The Prince’s Trust.
  • After this discussion, you will then be asked to complete an application form which helps our team identify the type of support you require.
  • We will then pair you up with one of our Progression Mentors, who will discuss our mentoring agreement with you. The mentoring agreement is simply a set of expectations and responsibilities that we expect you to follow to ensure that you get the most out of this opportunity.
