October Half Term - Newcastle Libraries
If you’re trick or treating this Halloween, make sure to stop by your local library! We’ll have trick or treat stations during usual opening times at the following libraries: Cruddas Park, Denton Burn, Fenham, High Heaton, Kenton, Outer West and Walker
On Halloween, you can visit the following libraries to take part in trick or treating. Costumes welcome!
Cruddas Park Library, Denton Burn Library, Fenham Library, High Heaton Library, Kenton Library, Outer West Library, Walker Library.
We’ll also be having drop-in spooky craft sessions across October half term:
- Monday 28 October - Fenham (11am), West End (2pm)
- Tuesday 29 October - Gosforth (2pm)
- Wednesday 30 October- Blakelaw (11am), Newburn (2pm)
- Thursday 31 October - Kenton (11am), Outer West (11am), High Heaton (11am), Cruddas Park (11am)
- Friday 1 November - East End (10:30am), Walker (11am)
- Saturday 2 November - Denton Burn (11am)

Saturday 26th October, 10.30am and 1.30pm, City Library
Ever wondered how books are made? In this 2 hour workshop, experts bookbinders will help you make your own journal. You can even emboss your own name on the front cover! Suitable for children aged 7+. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
