The courses are relevant to parents of all children including those with special needs such as ADHD and Autism.
These courses are written by Child and Adult Mental Health Service professionals, known as the Children and Young People’s Service (CYPS) in Newcastle, and other health and education workers. They are evidence based and accredited by the Department for Education and are aiming to change the culture around parents’ self-development and improve children’s wellbeing at the same time.
Research tells us that these courses can have the following impact; decreased conflict between parents and children, increased closeness in parent – child relationships, calmer households and better-behaved children. For more information on how the courses can help go to www.solihullapproachparenting.com
