A parent and toddler group is a welcoming and friendly group of adults, mothers, fathers, childminders or carers that come together with their children who are under the age of 5 in their own community.  They offer play opportunities for children from birth to 5 year old, as well as an opportunity to mix with others.  They offer support to adults and a break from the normal routines of the day. Booking maybe required at some group.

We are a group specifically for families with twins, triplets and higher order multiples aged 0-5years to meet, play and support each other.  Siblings are also welcome to join the fun!

Museum Mice is a play and exploration session for under 5s and their grown ups! It is the perfect place for little ones to socialise and make new friends whilst discovering the wonders of the museum. Each month there will be a series of four sessions which explore a particular theme inspired by the museum collections.

Come and join My Baby and Me play session.  Our group is welcoming and friendly.  We are open to every child 0-12 months.

• A safe and stimulating baby area

Our group is welcoming and friendly, we offer a wide range of activities which are suitable for all children under 5 and children with disabilities and/or special needs.

A relaxed session for babies who haven't learnt to crawl yet.

This is an opportunity for young babies to engage in tummy time as a group, learn songs, make new friends, and explore the senses whilst discovering some of our curious museum object.  Tummy time mat will be provided during the session but you are welcome to bring your own if you would prefer.

Rainbow borrowers is a toy loan service which runs alongside a play session for children under 5 yrs. These sessions are dedicated for children with additional needs and their families.

We are run by Newcastle Action for Parent and Toddler Groups Initiative (NAPI) who support and give advice to toddler groups across the city.  If you would like to contact us for any reason please ring 0191 2656158.
