We are a team of Consultant Psychiatrists, Mental Health Nurses and Junior Doctors, specialised in the assessment and treatment of adults with mental health needs admitted to the Acute Trust, covering RVI, Freeman and Cherryburn at Campus for Ageing and Vitality.
We are based at Richardson Unit, Leazes Wing, Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 4LP. Our working hours are 24 hours, 7 days a week.
We can offer bespoke training and education for wards and groups of clinicians.
Newcastle School for Boys is the north east regionβs only independent school providing education for boys only aged 3 to 18.
Our Junior School on North and West Avenue comprises early years, infants and juniors catering for Nursery, Reception and all the way up to Year 6. Nearby, our Senior School on The Grove houses Years 7 to 11 and our Sixth Form.
A small school of around 400 boys, we know each boy well both as an individual and as a learner. We use these factors to ensure each boy makes the most academic progress possible and achieves as highly as he can.

Newcastle Trampoline Park and Gym is located in the west end of Newcastle, providing excellent sport and leisure facilities for the local community. As well as a great gym which features a great range of Technogym equipment, we have a separate women only gym and the studios offer a great choice of fitness classes including Group Cycling. With new Technogym bikes recently added come along and give them a try. For children the centre boasts one of the newest Soft Play structures in Newcastle.
Newcastle Treatment and Recovery is a dedicated service for anyone in Newcastle experiencing problems with drugs and alcohol. We are here to help you get well and stay well. We believe recovery from addiction and substance misuse is possible for everyone, and weβre here to help you achieve it. Our aim is to make recovery a reality in Newcastle β whether youβre dealing with problematic drug or alcohol use or helping support others that are.

We provide a forum for service users and carers at George Street Social in Newcastle. The forum is an opportunity to chat and to raise any issues that you may have. It also provides a supportive place for peer led activities, training, volunteer opportunities, advocacy, and mentoring.

The Children and Families Act 2014 requires each local authority in England to appoint at least one person for the purpose of discharging the local authorityβs duty to promote the educational achievement of its Looked After Children (LAC) and Young People (LAYP). The Virtual School head teacher (VSH) leads on this and the Virtual School is the support service for undertaking this role in supporting the education of all our looked after children and looked after young people.

Newcastle Vision Support, formerly Newcastle Society for Blind People, was first established in 1867 and has been supporting visually impaired and blind people in Newcastle for 150 years.

The Community Treatment Team provides an assessment and treatment service for people who are experiencing difficulty with their mental health.
The team is made up of a number of health care professionals. The Community Treatment Team provides a service for men and women over the age of 18 years who require a period of assessment and treatment.
