Start for Life combines the Antenatal and Breastfeeding Support projects. We are a team of practitioners and volunteers working alongside midwives and health visitors to offer additional support to families in Newcastle.
balletLORENT is a national touring dance theatre company based at the John Marley Centre, Newcastle. We create performance works for all ages, and have an extensive community dance class and workshop programme.

A therapeutic service which aims to reduce the impact of abusive or traumatic experiences on children, young people and families. The Wellness Recovery Project delivers 1-2-1 counselling and therapeutic support for women, children and young people who have been witness to and victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence, or who may have suffered from bereavement and loss.
The service supports young people living in Newcastle, through a range of projects offering holistic support, information and advice. All interventions are delivered with the Barnardoβs Trauma Informed practice. Projects include: The Independence Project: Young People aged 12-18 years. 1:1 support, for up to 6months. Support offered at early help level, around emotional wellbeing through a social prescribing model. |

Are you looking for an inclusive exciting activity for adults of all abilities? Then come along to our weekly Boccia sessions from 10th June until 15th July 2025.
Boccia is a precision ball sport. It is similar to bowls. It is fully inclusive for players of all abilities, including those with physical disabilities.
Best of all, these sessions are free!

Job Club for 16-19 year olds that live in Newcastle
Ridley Villas is supported housing that provides help for women who have children, who are living in Newcastle and Gateshead who need support with overcoming issues with drugs or alcohol, or both.
A monthly Saturday social get-together for warm and friendly chat while completing any craft that you wish to bring along with you! Small and friendly group β anyone is welcome to join us.

The Tim Lamb Children's Centre
This youth group is for young adults (18+). The club encourages the young people to socialise. Take part in age-appropriate activities with supervision from a committed staff team.
Pre-registration and advance booking is essential.
Cost: Β£8 per session (additional cost for 1:1 support required). Payment in full is due at the beginning of each half-term. The centre canβt offer refunds for missed sessions unless agreed beforehand.

Featuring 8-bit music and video-game inspired lighting, this multi-sensory experience for young people aged 5+ with learning disabilities, PMLD and/or autism and their families and carers puts the audience at the controls!

This is to support ages 16-25 year olds. For North Benwell Families only.
Staff are on hand to offer advice and guidance, help with C.V.βs, applying for online courses, applying to college, applying for benefits and settled status applications too. There are laptops and P.C.'s and printers available to use.
We can also support young people with housing issues, apostils, document identity, opening bank accounts, and navigating the universal credit system.

Geordie Mums is a self-advocacy, social and supportive group for Mums with a learning disability and autistic Mums.
The group meets once a month, on a Wednesday morning.
