Regional Disability Team Neurological Service Walkergate Park
The Regional Disability Team, based at Walkergate Park in Newcastle, is a specialised, multidisciplinary rehabilitation team for people with long term, complex, neurological conditions. The service provides assessment, treatment, information, advice and support to individuals and their families and carers.
Team members provide:
- Physiotherapy
- Occupational therapy
- Counselling
- Neuro psychology
- Rehabilitation consultations
- Podiatry

Who is the Regional Disability Team for?
The team offers a range of services for people living in the north east with long term neurological conditions, aged from 16 years onwards.
How can I get referred?
Referrals to the team are taken from GPs and other health professionals, as well as self referral for those who have been seen by the service in the last six months.
