On a Wednesday Evening (term time), we run an arts and craft session ‘Get Crafty’ with a playworker leading the activity.

Our Tuesday Club is for young people with disabilities. They can stay active, make friends, and have fun. It helps them feel less alone and happier.
The club runs for two hours. There are sports and games for everyone. There is also a quiet area for relaxing.
A healthy tea is given at the club. This helps everyone stay healthy and feel good.

ICEbox is a youth club for young disabled people aged 16-25. It is ran by professional artists and support staff at the studio on Mosley Street.
Every Wednesday: 6.30pm-8.45pm
Each session costs £5. You can attend on a pay as you go basis.
Run by the NSPCC, Childline is a free, private and confidential service where children and young people under the age of 19. This includes those with additional needs or disabilities. You can talk to a counsellor about any issue they’re facing.

Browse and borrow a wide range of toys for children (0-5) with special educational needs. These can help with your child's learning and development. Toys can be borrowed for up to 4 weeks.

For children and young people with SEND aged 14 to 24 years old
Join us for an action-packed summer school where there is something new to try each day; sign up and you can enjoy sports, gaming, dance, film, and crafts with dedicated arts professionals to help you learn new skills. The week ends with 'Fun day Friday' featuring a film screening of your choice. We invite you to takeover GCT with your energy and enthusiasm.

Join us for inclusive sessions of dance, movement, and aerial at Dance City, held two Sundays per month.
This group is inclusive and has just 10 places so that we can welcome all abilities and needs. Pre booking recommended and Under 5s are welcome but a parent/guardian must be present.

West End Women and Girls Centre is the first and only open access, community based women and girls centre in Newcastle, we aim to build the power of women and girls, who have been and continue to be disenfranchised. We seek to drive positive change in the world, our community and in women and girls lives.
We do this through group work where women and girls have the opportunity to meet, have fun, learn skills, look at issues relevant their lives and generally build confidence in a safe and supportive environment.
A parent and toddler group is a welcoming and friendly group of adults. This includes mothers, fathers, childminders or carers.
They all come together in their own community with their children who are under the age of 5. This group has experience welcoming children and carers who have a disability or special need.
Northern Stage is a theatre in Newcastle City Centre, very close to Haymarket. You can enjoy plays, dance, comedy and musicals on all of our three stages.
We have family shows throughout the year and at Christmas we have two magical shows one for under 5s and one for over 5s.
Are you aged 18-25 and looking after someone who needs help and support?
If you are caring for someone who cannot manage without your support and you're not employed to do this, then you are a young adult carer. Anyone can become a carer at any point in their life. We're here to listen and support you.
Explore the science centre with fewer visitors, less noise, and enjoy relaxed performances in our planetarium and Science Theatre. Lighting and sound levels will be altered where possible to accommodate those with sensory needs. For example, hand-dryers in toilets will be turned off for the duration of the session.
Relaxed Sunday Sessions run from 10:00am - 12:00pm. You are welcome to stay after this time if you wish, but please note that our traditional programme, lighting, and sound levels will gradually resume from 12:00pm.

The CAN project helps 16-25 year olds from Newcastle and Gateshead who may require support to transition into adulthood or make steps towards improving their confidence and reducing isolation. CAN aim to support young adults to overcome any barriers affecting them to move forward in their lives.

Company of Others is a dance theatre company based in the North East of England, led by Artistic Director and Choreographer Nadia Iftkhar.
We empower those who have experienced Othering to share their stories through dance theatre experiences. Together, we spotlight diverse human experiences, challenge systems of oppression, and seek to inspire change.

The Tim Lamb Children's Centre
This youth group is for young adults (18+). The club encourages the young people to socialise. Take part in age-appropriate activities with supervision from a committed staff team.
Pre-registration and advance booking is essential.
Cost: £8 per session (additional cost for 1:1 support required). Payment in full is due at the beginning of each half-term. The centre can’t offer refunds for missed sessions unless agreed beforehand.
The sessions are for all young people aged 11 - 16 years and ran by qualified and experienced youth and community workers, we are passionate about listening to the voice of young people to support them to achieve their goals.
