balletLORENT is a national touring dance theatre company based at the John Marley Centre, Newcastle. We create performance works for all ages, and have an extensive community dance class and workshop programme.

They all come together in their own community with their children who are under the age of 5. This parent and groups offer play opportunities for children from birth to 18months old, as well as an opportunity to mix with others. They also offer support to adults and a break from the normal routines of the day.

Eco Influencers provides opportunities for young people aged 10-18 to design and deliver their own environmental social action projects that really make a difference. From outdoor eco classrooms to mindfulness wildlife gardens and recycling campaigns, young people across the region are leading the way.

We love story times at Newcastle Libraries. These sessions
- encourage language development,
- help foster a love of books,
- are really, really fun!
Enjoy stories in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Explore what the library has to offer and make friends. Listen to stories that will encourage young children to develop a life-long love of books from an early age. These sessions do not need to be pre-booked, please feel free to drop in.

There are two areas in our soft play. One is for younger children 0-2 years old. The other area is for 2-6 year olds.
