As an education charity whose goal is to improve the lives of young people, it would be silly not to ask young people what they think! Our YAB is made up of young people aged 13-16, who meet every other Friday in the Children and Families Newcastle @ Carnegie Building on Atkinson Road, Benwell.

Company of Others is a dance theatre company based in Walker.
Suitable for 6 - 17 years old.
Our FREE junior sessions are a safe space for children aged between 5-12 years to come and socialise, play freely, learn about the world around them and take part in activities like;
- arts and crafts
- cooking
- gardening
- group games
- sports
The sessions are led by the children, they choose what they would like to do in their youth clubs and plan their activities. Snacks and drinks are available in all sessions.
All welcome, no need to book.

For girls aged 8-13 years. Play music, sing, mc, learn an instrument.
Come and sing with us! Our youth choir will provide a place of belonging. It is a family where young people can be educated on the rich heritage of gospel music. They can explore harmonies and learn to work together. The choir will be ran by lead vocalists from Voices of Virtue Gospel Choir, alongside an instrumentalist. Choir members will have the opportunity to present their own shows and appear in Voices of Virtue concerts or events.
Curious Youth Music is a group for LGBTQIA+ musicians and aspiring producers aged 12-19. Curious Youth Music is a session for all to share your passion for music with fellow music fans. Come along to our meet-ups. You can have jam sessions, develop your song writing and work with professional musicians. Learn more about the music industry with exciting opportunities! Our Contemporary Dance Class is open to young people with learning disabilities who enjoy dance. All you have to do is turn up! HADO is a new immersive dodgeball session, where players compete in 3 v 3 matches. Players will be taught the skills of HADO to allow them to compete in matches against each other.

balletLORENT is a national touring dance theatre company based at the John Marley Centre, Newcastle. We create performance works for all ages, and have an extensive community dance class and workshop programme.
We are a small independent business which relies on donations and has no other source of funding.
We do corporate events, bird control, group bookings.
We also offer Flying owl experiences where you not only get to handle a variety of owls but to fly some as well - £20 per person.
Full flying experience includes the handling of birds, flying owls and Harris Hawks - £40 per person.
Northern Stage is a theatre in Newcastle City Centre, very close to Haymarket. You can enjoy plays, dance, comedy and musicals on all of our three stages.
We have family shows throughout the year and at Christmas we have two magical shows one for under 5s and one for over 5s.
Our café bar is a warm and welcoming place with free wifi and tea and coffee from just £1.
