Excelsior Academy opened in 2008 and has since become Newcastle’s most improved secondary school, consistently judged as good by Ofsted. Newcastle School for Boys is a school that caters for boys from 3-18. All of the boys who enter Early Years are part of our School community.

Early Years at Westfield has a welcoming and creative atmosphere and there is a constant buzz of purposeful activity. We aim to broaden the children's experience, excite their curiosity, encourage their individuality and provide opportunities for them to develop happily in all areas.
Open to anyone who has experienced anti-LGBTQIA+ violence or harassment and needs a safe space to talk. The helpline is run by LGBTQIA+ people and is completely confidential. It is operated by Galop, the LGBTQIA+ anti-violence charity supporting people facing hate crime, domestic abuse and sexual violence.

This group meets bi-weekly, to share experiences, make friends and have fun. There are two groups: one for 13-18 s and a group for 19-25s.
'All Under One Roof' has been running consistently for 20 years in south east Northumberland. We promise a warm welcome, a safe space to be your best queer self and great support (if you want it.)
Groups meet at the Oval, Roslin Park, Bedlington Station or online.

Northern Pride was formed in August 2007 after a brief gap in Pride activities following the closure of Pride on the Tyne. A research project was commissioned and carried out by MET Ltd to establish what the North East LGBTQ+ community would like from a Pride event. These results were fed back to the community in May 2007 and from this feedback, a group of volunteers came forward and formed the first Northern Pride Committee.
