The young people of North Benwell will generate their own hope for the future and be the agents of their own destinies.
Detached sessions allow the North Benwell Youth Project to engage with potential users and meet young people in the street.

Family hub on a Wednesday evening 5:30 – 7pm, we provide a hot meal and arts, crafts and activities.
Children over 8 years can attend without an adult.
Children 5 years to 8 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

This group is for ages 8-13.
Open space for arts, crafts, sports, games, trips and discussions around life and faith.
Come and join in - we play sports, DJ, drink hot chocolate, play with chalk, chat, create spaces to mark life’s big events, and generally enjoy the company of Byker and Walker’s young people.
Meets in central Newcastle Wednesday afternoons in a safe space and is open to anyone 15-25 years of age who identifies as Trans/non-binary.

Nisai Virtual Academy believe that everyone has equal value and should have access to high quality education around the world. It is our mission to give traditional and non-traditional learners the skills to flourish through innovative online education and by influencing positive institutional change. We provide a friendly, supportive learning community and offer our students incredible opportunities. In essence, we support learners from Key Stages 3 to 5 and help create pathways to further education and employment through personalised learning.
The Mums group currently meet every Thursday afternoon and has been running for 4 years now.
It is a relaxed space where young women can meet with or without their children. They can have a coffee and chat, share information and advice, support each other when life seems tough, which can help to reduce feelings of isolation. Importantly the group always manage to have a laugh together.
School Nurses offer one to one support and drop in and pop up sessions to school aged children in topics ranging from mental health to public health sessions in puberty and sexual health they also offer support to families and young children with sleep, diet and toileting amongst other health related and social issues.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding and live in Newcastle, we can offer you information and support.
Start for Life combines the Antenatal and Breastfeeding Support projects. We are a team of practitioners and volunteers working alongside midwives and health visitors to offer additional support to families in Newcastle.
Sleep success workshops offer support and guidance around sleep issues for parents and carers of children aged 1-19 years old including children with additional needs.
One-off 3 hour workshops.
