SVP Deaf Centre is a charity providing care, comfort and compassion for disadvantaged families and individuals within the community, both non-hearing and hearing alike. As the centre is part of the wider organisation of St Vincents de Paul, we embody SVP values while also having a unique focus on bettering the lives of those who have experience of deafness
True Colours is an inclusive theatre school for children and young people living in the North East. They run classes designed to build confidence and celebrate diversity in a safe and nurturing environment.

The North East Autism Society run a Family Networking Group, a closed group on Facebook which aims to empower, educate and connect parents, families and carers by:
- Increasing knowledge
- Sharing useful information
- Connecting people

The workshops last for 2 hours and you will receive a workbook for your own reflection after each session.
FREE places available but spaces are limited so registration is required. Priority will be given to women in Byker, Walker and Wallsend but all welcome!

The Gaming Social is a weekly gaming drop in for young people to socialise and mix in a relaxed environment. This is free to allow anyone to attend. Gaming Social is a place where gamers play a huge range of consoles with friends.
We started our in-person Gaming Social in 2017. It is a way for people who love gaming to get together and socialise over something we’re all passionate about. We've developed a collection of games and consoles.
Curious Youth Music is a group for LGBTQIA+ musicians and aspiring producers aged 12-19. Curious Youth Music is a session for all to share your passion for music with fellow music fans. balletLORENT is a national touring dance theatre company based at the John Marley Centre, Newcastle. We create performance works for all ages, and have an extensive community dance class and workshop programme.
We are a small independent business which relies on donations and has no other source of funding.
We do corporate events, bird control, group bookings.
We also offer Flying owl experiences where you not only get to handle a variety of owls but to fly some as well - £20 per person.
Full flying experience includes the handling of birds, flying owls and Harris Hawks - £40 per person.
