Open space for games, crafts, trips and discussions around life and faith.
We run drop in and closed groups for children and young people. Some of these are focused around a particular activity (such as Sporty Legs, where we play sports and explore faith together) and others are focused around a particular location (like the Byker and Walker bubbles that currently meet once a week). We even run a bible study using board games to explore faith! All these spaces are shaped by the young people that attend, and include space to have fun, learn new skills, and grow together. We also run toddler groups for families with younger children.
Over The Wall provides FREE residential activity camps for children and teenagers living with serious health challenges and their families, to enable them to reach beyond their perceived limitations and rediscover a whole new world of possibilities. Our camps help develop the confidence, self esteem, coping strategies and peer relationships of our campers.

The National FGM Centre is a partnership between Barnardo’s and the Local Government Association. It was established in 2015 to achieve change in the provision of services for children and their families who are affected by FGM. In 2017, the focus of their work was extended to include Breast Ironing/Flattening and Child Abuse Linked to Faith or Belief. Their website includes a knowledge hub with information, guidance and resources for practitioners and information about training.
Archbishop Runcie First School is the only Church of England school in the north of the city of Newcastle upon Tyne and we are proud to offer our children a high quality education in a Christian context. Our school offers an unconditional welcome to all children in our community, whatever their faith, and we place each child at the heart of all we do.
Our Lady and St Anne’s is a Catholic school with a very diverse community and we try to follow Jesus in what we say and what we do. We provide a broad and balanced Catholic curriculum, recognising that everyone is unique and is created in the image of God (Gen 1:27). Our curriculum is designed to enable every child to reach their potential and contribute to society. We provide a wide range of extra-curricular activities and strong pastoral support.
