Did you know babies love to boogie?
Music and dancing is great fun for infants and parents and also plays an important role in helping develop your relationship with them.
Designed for under 2s, Boogie Bairns uses the power of music and other sensory experiences to create a focused time for parents to bond and connect with their infant. The time spent together responding to sounds and movement is also a chance for you to learn how your little one communicates.
The Mums group currently meet every Thursday afternoon and has been running for 4 years now.
It is a relaxed space where young women can meet with or without their children. They can have a coffee and chat, share information and advice, support each other when life seems tough, which can help to reduce feelings of isolation. Importantly the group always manage to have a laugh together.
Babies come along and have fun, explore new ideas for play and help your parents to notice what you are communicating.
Parents come along and get tips on managing your own stress, helping your baby manage their feelings, keeping connected with others and being kind to yourself.
A group for for under 2s, mums and dads.
