Company of Other is a dance theatre group based in Walker.
Get your young one moving and making friends this summer holiday! Led by choreographer Michael Heatley, Company of Others Summer Dance Intensive offers four days of free dance workshops for 6-12 year olds and 12-17 year olds. Full of fun, creativity, and performance!
Dates: Tuesday 5th - Friday 8th August Times: 9:30am-1pm (6-12yrs) 1pm-4:30pm (12-17yrs)

Throughout our camps, the children will get the opportunity to take part in lots of different activities ranging from a variety of arts and crafts to dance and fitness as well as board games, and sports games. The days are open to boys and girls from Yr3 - Yr6, the camps are FREE for FSM children and include a hot, nutritious meal and snacks throughout the day. The Lighthouse Project First Summer of Fun!
Curious Youth Arts Group was established to create a safe space where LGBTQIA+ and/or gender non-conforming young people aged 11-15 year old feel supported and comfortable to connect with one another whilst exploring their creativity.
The group is the perfect place to meet new friends, try out new art forms with guest artists and take part in fun creative activities!
The group meets weekly on Tuesday evenings at Gosforth Civic Theatre OR One Strawberry Lane, Newcastle from 5:30pm-7:30pm (optional jam session until 8pm)

PRISM NE is a support group for trans and non-binary young people set up by young people themselves, to provide a space where they are free to be who they are. We plan activities, workshops, occasional trips and residentials.

Who are Pride Space?
Pride Space is facilitated by Pride Action North, and Space to Grow (The Children’s Society) and is an LGBT+ young person led space, for children aged 8 - 16. The group aims to support LGBT young people to gain sense of community, combat social isolation, and support their wellbeing.
