Moneywise Credit Union has a network of local credit union collection points that offer a convenient way to deposit savings. Local credit union collection points do not provide information about loans or membership queries.

We do not provide a specialist benefit advice service but do offer Newcastle residents some general support with benefit issues. For example:

We can offer:

• Benefits support - help with new applications and managing existing claims.
• Housing support - rent enquiries and arrears, managing housing applications and repairs.
• Advice - where to access further support including around debt and managing your finances.
• Other support- school applications, Council Tax.

For Teenagers.

Detached sessions allow the North Benwell Youth Project to engage with potential users and meet young people in the street.

Our vision is that North Benwell will not be considered disadvantaged or deprived.  We wish to see the young people of North Benwell enjoy the same possibilities of life as their peers in other areas of Newcastle upon Tyne.

The young people of North Benwell will generate their own hope for the future and be the agents of their own destinies.

Family hub on a Wednesday evening 5:30 – 7pm, we provide a hot meal and arts, crafts and activities.

Children over 8 years can attend without an adult. 

Children 5 years to 8 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult. 

50p for children - no booking required

This group is for ages 8-13. 

Open space for arts, crafts, sports, games, trips and discussions around life and faith.
