Moneywise Credit Union has a network of local credit union collection points that offer a convenient way to deposit savings. Local credit union collection points do not provide information about loans or membership queries.

We do not provide a specialist benefit advice service but do offer Newcastle residents some general support with benefit issues. For example:

We can offer:

• Benefits support - help with new applications and managing existing claims.
• Housing support - rent enquiries and arrears, managing housing applications and repairs.
• Advice - where to access further support including around debt and managing your finances.
• Other support- school applications, Council Tax.

PRISM NE  is a support group for trans and non-binary young people set up by young people themselves, to provide a space where they are free to be who they are.  We plan activities, workshops, occasional trips and residentials.

Every 2 weeks

Home Education Days have been designed for home educated children to benefit from our curriculum-linked workshops, which reflect current and relevant STEM themes and topics.  

Children experience working like scientists in a lab setting which they would not have access to at home. Families can also explore the science centre at leisure rather than having a ‘school style’ schedule to follow.
