Baby Massage sessions can offer a range of benefits to both mother and child. It helps with bonding and is a relaxing time for both.
There are 5 sessions which will end with the parent being bale to give their child a safe and soothing massage. Other benefits include helping colic, teething and snuffles and can improve circulation.

A new group for parents/carers of children under 2 to help support your child's speech, language and development.
The service supports young people living in Newcastle, through a range of projects offering holistic support, information and advice. All interventions are delivered with the Barnardo’s Trauma Informed practice. Projects include: The Independence Project: Young People aged 12-18 years. 1:1 support, for up to 6months. Support offered at early help level, around emotional wellbeing through a social prescribing model. |
All Valued are accessible films about tackling hate, extremism and radicalisation. The films feature:
- stories and advice from people in our community
- a rap about checking your values
- pause and reflect activities to help people talk through some of the issues presented in the film
The films were produced as part of The Twisting Ducks Building A Stronger Britain Together project, funded by the Home Office

A group for current volunteers and anyone else who is interested in becoming a Barnardo's volunteer.
A varied programme of speakers and practical activities or just come along for a cuppa and a chat.

Coffee Mornings/event for Newcastle Parent/Carers of children and young people with additional needs:
Would you like to find out about what support is available in Newcastle and chat with other parents too?
It is easy to feel alone when caring for a child with additional needs. Come along and meet with other carers who understand.
Quadrant main focus is to work with children and young people most in need and hard to reach including those with disabilities or additional needs.
Our provision over the years has seen us work within educational settings offering after school clubs, holiday clubs, mentoring and personal development programs.
We have also developed our first SEN exclusive drop-in club for young people.

Free cookery and crafts for adults with learning disabilities
Cornerstone is a project set up by local churches in Benwell. Everyone is welcome.
Cornerstone is a designated Safe Place for people with learning disabilities.
Culture Exchange is a culturally diverse group which meets every Friday.

What is the Pop Up Pantry?
A Pop up Pantry is a mobile shop that will give anyone access to a high quality food and household goods at a reduced cost.
We aim to save our members 50% or more on the items they buy from the Pop Up Pantry compared to normal prices.
We also aim to provide other activities such as children & family events, cookery classes, budgeting advice, and more.
How do I shop at the Pop Up Pantry?
1. You pay £2.00 to become a member
2. You get issued with a card to put points on

Barnardo's ensure that young people and families remain at the heart of everything we do. Including our LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer/Questioning) Whole Family Approach pilot supporting LGBTQ+ children and young people up to the age of 19 years old and their families within Newcastle upon Tyne.
We have experienced staff, available to offer support for young people who identify and/or are exploring being LGBTQ+ and their families.
Support will be offered through 1-2-1 sessions, group and family work as required.
