Gosforth East Middle offers a rich, happy and stimulating environment for children aged 9 to 13 years. We are all very proud of our School and its successes over the years, and hope the information provided on our website and in our prospectus will give you a sense of what we have to offer.

At Walbottle Academy, our approach to education recognises that outcomes are paramount and also allows children to gain experiences and values which prepare them fully for life. We provide after school support for Primary aged students which revolve around different degree subjects students may not of had the chance to learn about before (e.g chemistry, Ancient Civilisations) This also covers maths and English support. For Secondary school students, we provide 1-1 support, as well as free access to chromebooks, free printing, and resources such as revision guides. We have a team of staff and volunteers with different subject specialties.

A multi-award winning theatre, drama and creative learning charity.

Based in Northumberland, we co-create compelling, dynamic, socially-relevant, and high-quality theatre, film and creative projects - with children, young people, and communities. 

Our purpose is to support people to have better quality inter-personal relationships with on another, and to use theatre and drama-based activities as a methodology to achieve this; helping people connect, have fun, learn and grow together.

Gosforth Civic Theatre is an arts venue, café and community hub in Gosforth, and is home to, and run by, Liberdade Community Development Trust.

We opened Gosforth Civic Theatre in 2016, and in 2019 we hosted more than 900 events and activities, and invited over 50,000 people through our doors. In the words of Ozzy, one of our founding members, we opened the theatre because;
