Support for young LGBT+ people in the Hexham area
We work across Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland, South Tyneside and Sunderland with a wide range of local, regional and national partners, including local authority leisure teams, public health, planners, transport teams, the education, housing and criminal justice sectors to name a few, to make it easier and a more attractive proposition for people to be physically active.
We are particularly passionate about helping under-represented groups and those who are currently moving for less than 30 minutes per week.
We’re a charity that supports adults in their 20s, 30s and 40s with a cancer diagnosis, through a range of in-person and online activities. There is never a good time to have cancer, but we know that you face different issues to older or younger people. Work, relationships, mental health, fertility, travelling – we’re here to guide you through this and more.
Divercity Hub is a community hub in Newcastle Upon Tyne. It serves Newcastle as well as the wider community and is inclusive to all regardless of their background, faith or financial circumstances.
Divercity Hub provides services to the public that support living a conscious and empowered life. These services include:
A regional steering group who raises awareness of HIV all year round and support World Aids Day events across Northeast and Cumbria.
Throughout the year Eyes Open work around the region in schools, hospitals, community settings and other organisations to promote the awareness of HIV and to remove the stigma that is still attached to HIV.
