As the Head Teacher, I want to ensure that our school goes from strength to strength. We are on an upward journey – and the sky is the limit! Our results are excellent and our current parents are overwhelmingly positive about their child’s education.


The school is a Community Co-educational First School. The building has a large hall and adjoining dining area. We have six classrooms for Key stages 1 & 2. The Foundation Stage Unit for Nursery and Reception age children consists of three classrooms and an outside play area / outdoor classroom. We have a small group working room / medical room and library areas. We also have a centralised computer suite with controlled access to the Internet.


Lemington Riverside is a 3-11 year old primary school serving the suburb of Lemington in the city of Newcastle Upon Tyne. Our school is located across three large buildings that were built in the Georgian era, we also have a Community Hub on site offering various additional services and activities to our community outside of school hours.


Occupying a key position in the west of Newcastle, we reflect the rich cultural and social mix present in our area of the city. Our school accommodation is a large, modern building with generous, natural, outdoor space and extensive sports areas.

Bridgewater is a growing, vibrant 0-11 school in the heart of Scotswood, with panoramic views across the Tyne Valley. This unique setting provides outstanding childcare and education and offers a range of extended services to the community it serves.


Thomas Bewick School is a special school within Prosper Learning Trust in Newcastle upon Tyne. It is for children and young people between three and nineteen years with autistic spectrum conditions. All pupils have a Statement of Special Educational Needs/ Education Health and Care Plan or are in the assessment process. They have a range of learning difficulties; some will require a high level of adult support to access the curriculum, whilst others achieve close to age-related expectations in some areas.


Newcastle School for Boys is a school that caters for boys from 3-18. All of the boys who enter Early Years are part of our School community.

Archbishop Runcie First School is the only Church of England school in the north of the city of Newcastle upon Tyne and we are proud to offer our children a high quality education in a Christian context. The Children and Families Act 2014 requires each local authority in England to appoint at least one person for the purpose of discharging the local authority’s duty to promote the educational achievement of its Looked After Children (LAC) and Young People (LAYP). The Virtual School head teacher (VSH) leads on this and the Virtual School is the support service for undertaking this role in supporting the education of all our looked after children and looked after young people.

Gosforth Central Middle School caters for a maximum of 504 boys and girls between the ages of 9 and 13 years. In recent years each year group year has been oversubscribed with particular demand in Years 5 and 7.
Most of our pupils are drawn from Archbishop Runcie, Grange and South Gosforth First Schools. However, pupils from other schools are admitted each year, so long as places are available.


We’re here to help every child feel valued, inspired, and equipped for whatever comes next. From Reception to Year 4, we focus on building strong foundations in learning and wellbeing, while fostering resilience, kindness, and a love for discovery.
Our nursery is open for 3-4 year olds.
