Children come to us for 1 or 2 hours per week, during which time they participate in interactive maths and English courses that are tailored to their needs and mapped to the national curriculum. 

We can take on members between the ages of 4-16. We are a tutor matching service providing home and private tutors in your area for primary, secondary and degree level private or home tuition. Our UK private tutors cover a wide range of subjects including English and Maths and other niche subjects like languages. Private tuition for Entrance exams, A-Levels, GCSEs and SATs are all catered for across the UK.

We provide after school support for Primary aged students which revolve around different degree subjects students may not of had the chance to learn about before (e.g chemistry, Ancient Civilisations) This also covers maths and English support. For Secondary school students, we provide 1-1 support, as well as free access to chromebooks, free printing, and resources such as revision guides. We have a team of staff and volunteers with different subject specialties.

The Humankind LGBT North East Services provide support to young people aged 11 to 25 through a range of projects across the North East region.

LGBT+ (Lesbian, Gay Bisexual or Transgender or other related identities) specialist support includes one to one interventions, workshops, peer support and family work. 

Humankind are also a delivery partner for the Rainbow Flag Award; a quality assured framework for schools to ensure that they are providing inclusive and positive environments for LGBT Students and their staff.

Streetwise provide a range of health and wellbeing support services for young people aged 11 - 25 year olds. 

Young people aged 13-25 can access the full range of contraception, sexual health, C-card (free condoms), Chlamydia testing, pregnancy testing. Workers offer support around wider issues such as relationships, drugs, alcohol and any other issues facing young people. We will signpost on to other services where appropriate.

We have a counselling and mental health service offering support around mental health and well-being for young people aged 11-25.

So our confidential and impartial sexual health service is here to help you (as long as you are aged 13 to 25 years old) with any questions, problems or support you need.
